The Visalia Rotary Community Foundation announces the Robert Harrell Career and Technical Education Scholarship. This scholarship currently gives approximately 30 scholarships at $1,000 each for various vocational technical programs. The scholarship is for a student who is from Visalia (or lives in Tulare County and is attending a vocational program in Visalia) and is pursuing a vocational technical school in an accredited institution. There are four application periods each year for the Robert Harrell Career and Technical Education Scholarship. Please refer to the scholarship for the dates. FIDM awards over $300,000 in scholarships through a national scholarship competition. It’s for students interested in the global industries of Fashion, Visual Arts, Graphics, Interior Design, and Entertainment. Seven first-place winners who demonstrate an exceptional talent and interest in Fashion Design, Visual Communications, Interior Design, Digital Media, Fashion Merchandising, Graphic Design, or Product Development will each be awarded a full, one-year scholarship to attend FIDM, which includes tuition, fees, books, and most supplies. In addition, the top three finalists in each category will each be awarded a $5,000 scholarship.
