Drive-up during your “assigned time”, get out, take a picture, get back in, and drive home or go to Starbucks. Pictures are for the yearbook and Graduation displays. Seniors, Cap N’ Gowns should be steamed and wrinkle free. Gentlemen should wear collared shirt (tie are optional) under their gown. Ladies should wear Business Casual Tops/Blouses under their gown. Underclassmen do not need to worry about a cap n' gown. Your assigned times are in the link above.

The VTEC Scholarship Application is now available to VTEC Seniors. This is a Google document. The Scholarship Committee suggests that applicants type the application for clarity. The deadline is March 15th at 4:00 PM. There will be no exceptions made for late applications. Last year the VTEC Scholarship Foundation awarded nearly $20,000 to VTE graduates. For the Spring 2021 Semester, VTEC will have a different schedule for the students on (Full Distance) Learning "Edgenuity". Students will be encouraged to log into their different classes throughout the day and work on their subjects for a period of time and then check in with their VTEC support teacher. The attached schedule shows the Asynchronous Work Time which is time for them to work independently and then the Check In Time, which is when they need to check in for attendance and assistance. Beginning January 11th 2021, VTEC High School will be on a NEW schedule. (see link) This was designed by multiple groups to provide more instructional time for our students and incorporates intervention opportunities into everyday. Distance learning has been a challenge for a number of students this year and we feel this schedule will be the best for a majority of VTEC students. After reviewing this schedule, if you find that it conflicts with your COS classes, please contact Mrs. Diaz or Ms. Hulsey for assistance at (559) 622-3212.
Visalia Technical Early College High School is excited to announce to launch our NEW Early College Pathway. The Early College Pathway is an opportunity for students to begin earning college credits during their high school years. Students pursuing this pathway must show strong academic skills in middle school and have a desire to accept the rigor of college course work. For your convenience, the VTEC Enrollment Packet is online. It includes the Emergency card, Information Card and Student Residency Form. You can fill them out on an electronic device, (like your students Chromebook) save it and email it to Mrs. Roebuck at Kroebuck@vusd.org. We hope this process is helpful.

The Learning Continuity and Attendance Plan is a description of how the LEA will provide continuity of instruction during the school year to ensure pupils have access to a full curriculum of substantially similar quality, regardless of the method of delivery, including the LEA’s plan for curriculum and instructional resources that will ensure instructional continuity for pupils if a transition between in-person instruction and distance learning occurs. This plan addresses learning loss, technology, nutrition, mental health, disadvantaged youth and teacher preparation and support.
